Role
The Sales Representative at Publicity for Good is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients who align with our purpose-driven mission. This role focuses on generating leads, booking discovery calls, and supporting the early stages of the sales process. Working closely with the Brand Communications Manager and strategy team, the Sales Representative plays a key role in driving business growth through proactive outreach and strategic lead generation. This is a full-time position based in Nashville, Tennessee, with hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
Proactively identify and research qualified leads through outbound strategies such as email, LinkedIn, and cold calls.
Execute outreach campaigns using proven scripts and tools to initiate conversations with mission-aligned brands.
Qualify leads based on fit, need, and interest before booking calls with senior team members.
Pipeline Management
Track all outreach activity, responses, and appointments in the CRM accurately and consistently.
Follow up with potential leads promptly to keep them engaged and move them through the pipeline.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with the Brand Communications Manager and strategy team to align on lead profiles and outreach strategy.
Participate in team meetings to report progress and share insights for improving outreach tactics.
Contribute to refining the sales process based on feedback and performance data.
Results
Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs, including lead generation and qualified call bookings.
Maintain a healthy pipeline of purpose-aligned prospects.
Accurately track and report all outreach activity and lead status in the CRM.
Support senior sales closers by delivering well-qualified, high-potential leads.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive, professional tone.
Comfortable with cold outreach and CRM tools; organized and proactive in follow-ups.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Bonus: Experience in agency sales or the PR/marketing industry.
